Preventive Dentistry

The prevention or oral disease is the key to keeping your smile healthy for life, and it involve two key components: regular dental cleanings and exams, and a good at-home oral hygiene routine.

  • Examinations

During your dental examination, our team will investigate the health of your teeth, and gums and bite, and alert you to any problems. She may also perform an x-ray, to catch any problems hidden below the surface or between your teeth. Regular dental exams allow us to identify problems that may not be visible to the untrained eye, and the catch them early, before they become serious.

  • Cleanings

During the cleaning portion of your visit, we will perform a professional dental cleaning. Using a scaling instrument, we will remove any tartar buildup on your teeth that cannot be removed with regular brushing and flossing. We will also brush and polish your teeth using specialized equipment, to leave them as white and bright as possible. Finally, we will perform a professional flossing as well.

Dental Restorations

Sometimes, in spite of our best efforts, dental decay can develop. Teeth can also suffer from wear and tear over time, and need to be repaired.

Our dentists can identify and treat decay and damage early, before they become serious, and apply the appropriate treatment to maintain the structural integrity of your mouth.

The following treatments are just a few of the ways that we can restore your smile to its former appearance and function.

  • White & Amalgam Fillings

We use both white composite and silver amalgam fillings to repair teeth that have decay or damage.

  • Dental Crowns

A dental crown, otherwise known as a cap, is a dental restoration that completely caps or encircles a damaged tooth or dental implant. We will place a crown when a large cavity or extensive damage threatens the structural integrity of a tooth.

  • Dental Bridges

A dental bridge is a fixed dental restoration used to replace one or more missing teeth. It spans the area where teeth are missing, and is attached on either end of the space to the natural teeth or to dental implants.

  • Dental Implants

A dental implant is a tiny titanium screw that is implanted into the jawbone, to act as a replacement for the root of a missing tooth. Dental implants are usually capped with a dental crown to create a stable

  • Dentures

Dentures are removable prosthetic devices used to replace missing teeth. They are supported by the surrounding soft and hard tissues of the oral cavity.

Cosmetic Treatments

If you're looking to improve the appearance of your smile, our dental teams can help. At both our Surrey and Langley practices, we offer a range of cosmetic dental treatments that can help you smile with confidence!

  • Professional Teeth Whitening

Teeth whitening is a process by which stains are removed from the surfaces of the teeth, and their actual colour is lightened and brightened. Teeth whitening is a great options for people whose teeth have become discoloured over time, or who have a naturally darker tooth colour.

  • Veneers

Dental veneers are thin slivers of porcelain that are applied to the fronts of the teeth to improve their appearance. They can be used to hide chips, cracks or discolouration on the teeth.

  • Dental Bonding

Tooth bonding is the application of a tooth-colored resin material to the tooth using adhesives and a high intensity curing light. Bonding is often used to improve the appearance of a discolored or chipped tooth.
